A new Ability and Technique is also available for each class.īefore these two major additions, an update will be made available on August 20 that provides changes based on community feedback. Players who have earned gear at level 110 can now bind it to a class and activate Mastery Challenges, which will allow you to boost it to level 120 and unlock a second perk slot. Joining Rivals is a new Gear Mastery system, which expands on Legends' current progression system. Rivals will also bring with is a set of new Trophies and Cosmetics to unlock.
It sounds a lot like Destiny 2's Gambit game mode, which is certainly no bad thing. Spending enough Magatama triggers the Final Stand wave of enemies, and defeating them before your rivals will win you the match. Spending Magatama on Shades will block your rival team from making purchases, while buying Curses will drain rivals' health and make bodies explode. Defeated enemies drop Magatama, which can be then used to attack your rival team. In this mode, two teams of two compete to defeat waves of enemies. That new content includes Rivals, a brand new mode also arriving on September 3.
